    1. 2 Tomatoes
    2. 1/2 Onion
    3. 1/2 Turnip or carrot
    4. 1 clove Garlic
    5. 1 inch Ginger
    6. 2 cups Water
    7. 2/3 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
    8. 1/3 teaspoon Black pepper
    9. 1/3 teaspoon Fresh or dried basil leaves (optional)
  • Garnish
    1. 1 tablespoon Butter or fresh cream

How to Cook

  1. Wash, peel, and cut the vegetables into large pieces.
  2. Add all the ingredients from the preparation section to a pressure cooker and cook for one whistle.
  3. Allow it to cool, then blend until smooth.
  4. Transfer the soup back to the same cooker or pan and cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Adjust the consistency with water if it is too thick.
  5. The soup is ready to serve. Serve warm with butter or fresh cream.
