Preparation
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1/2 Onion
- 1/2 Turnip or carrot
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 cups Water
- 2/3 teaspoon Salt (to taste)
- 1/3 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/3 teaspoon Fresh or dried basil leaves (optional)

Steps
How to Cook
- Wash, peel, and cut the vegetables into large pieces.
- Add all the ingredients from the preparation section to a pressure cooker and cook for one whistle.
- Allow it to cool, then blend until smooth.
- Transfer the soup back to the same cooker or pan and cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Adjust the consistency with water if it is too thick.
- The soup is ready to serve. Serve warm with butter or fresh cream.
